Dr. JC (Julie) Chrisman-Aly is a physical therapist specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine. She graduated from UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2019 where she was awarded the Kaydee Sloan Academic Excellence and Social Responsibility scholarship and was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society representing the top 10% of her class. She completed her residency shortly after, during which time she trained with the chief of shoulder surgery and other renowned physicians specializing in sports related injuries, post operative rehab and more. She taught in the orthopedic curriculum in UT Southwestern’s DPT program and has volunteered for Dallas Baptist University, UT Dallas and other local high schools to perform preseason physicals for athletes. In 2023 JC passed rigorous testing to become an Orthopedic clinical specialist in her field. She is also dry needling certified through the AAMT.
Prior to her career in physical therapy, JC attended college at the University of Texas majoring in Exercise Science. During her time there she won a national championship and was awarded first team all American by the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation. In her free time, JC enjoys playing volleyball, pickleball and tennis as well as cooking and traveling with her husband and walks with her corgi.
