Dr. Myers is an accomplished physician, athlete and healthcare executive. He has dedicated his career to improving the health and lives of others.

Dr. Myers is a board-certified Emergency Physician and Sports Medicine specialist. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and American Academy of Pediatrics and a Physician Member of the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Myers has been taking care of patients since the age of 17 when he first started working in a Level 1 Trauma Center. Since that time, his medical career has been focused on providing state-of-the-art care for patients with all extremes of illness and injury in some of the busiest Emergency Departments in the US. He is also currently practicing as a Visiting Team Medical Liaison for the Dallas Cowboys.

Dr. Myers has been honored by D Healthcare as one of the Best Physicians in Dallas and as a Top Doc in America. He was elected to serve as the President of the Texas College of Emergency Physicians, has authored numerous peer reviewed publications, and has been a frequent lecturer on many aspects of medicine.

Dr. Myers has been a life-long athlete. He started off swimming competitively as a child and continued into high school, achieving Texas UIL All-State honors, and in college. Following college, he began running competitively and has subsequently completed 25 marathons – including Boston and New York. In 2007, he turned to triathlons and he has since completed hundreds of triathlons including being a 2x-Ironman finisher. He has been awarded All-American Honors by USA Triathlon multiple years, All-World Ironman athlete, and represented Team USA in the World Triathlon Championships in London in 2013.

As an executive, Dr. Myers has more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience with a proven track record of successful practice management, execution and value creation. His passion is developing innovative healthcare solutions focused on helping patients and healthcare clients achieve their desired outcomes. Dr. Myers has started and led twenty-four healthcare-related companies including: Questcare Medical Services, PLLC – Hospital-based services companies; QRx Medical Management, LLC; Questcare Medical Clinics, PLLC; Questcare Urgent Care, PLLC; Questcare Matrix, PLLC and Acute Kids Urgent Care, PLLC – now Medical City Children’s Urgent Care.

Prior to joining the Driven Elite team, Dr. Myers was the CEO of Envision Healthcare – North Texas (NYSE: EVHC) and Questcare Medical Services, a premier multi-specialty, integrated, population healthcare organization with more than 1200 healthcare providers (physicians and advanced practice providers) delivering quality Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, Critical Care, Pediatrics, Family Practice, OB/Gyn, Neurology, Telemedicine and Hospitalist services in over 90 facilities throughout the southern United States.

Dr. Myers has held numerous other healthcare leadership positions and currently serves on multiple company boards and committees. In 2016, he was named as a Top CEO in Dallas by D CEO. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Global Business Honor Society.

Dr. Myers earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Texas Christian University. He received a Doctor of Medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of California – Irvine Medical Center. Subsequently, Dr. Myers completed a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Myers also holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.
